Every product on our website shows its quality. This page explains what each quality means, so you can choose the right part for each repair.
Original parts
Service Pack
New, original parts supplied by the phone brand itself (for example Samsung) to its authorised repair centres, usually in the brand’s official packaging. The highest quality available.
OEM
Original parts made by the factory that produces them for the phone brand, but sold without the brand’s official packaging.
Pulled
Original parts removed from used or new phones, then tested. They may show small signs of use.
Refurbished
Original screens that have been restored, for example with new glass or a new frame, then tested. A more affordable way to get an original screen.
Aftermarket screens
These screens are made by third-party manufacturers.
Soft OLED
OLED screens built on a flexible base, like the original. Thin, with deep blacks and good colours. The closest alternative to an original screen.
Hard OLED
OLED screens built on a rigid base. Deep blacks and good colours, but slightly thicker than the original. More affordable than Soft OLED.
In-Cell
LCD screens (not OLED) with the touch layer built into the display. The most affordable option. Compared with OLED, blacks are less deep, and the screen is slightly thicker and uses more battery.
JK
A brand of aftermarket screens widely used by repair shops. The product page shows the technology (In-Cell or OLED).
Which quality should I choose?
For phones with an OLED screen, from closest to the original to most affordable:
Original (Service Pack, OEM, Pulled, Refurbished) → Soft OLED → Hard OLED → In-Cell
Good to know
Aftermarket screens can differ slightly from the original in colour, brightness, thickness or battery use. These differences are normal for the quality chosen and are not defects.
